Great stop for lunch, we had the bbq pork sandwich and the tamales with chili and cheese and lettuce and tomato. The tamales were tasty and a bit spicy which suited my taste. Friendly service and an old fashioned atmosphere that can only come from being in business decades. Its a dont miss if you are traveling through the area.

Loved this place! I wanted to try the tamales just because I was skeptical. My husband was extremely skeptical and together we licked the plate clean. The chopped BBQ pork sandwich with slaw and Abes sauce did not disappoint either. Love the old school atmosphere and southern hospitality. Highly recommend.
Lovely little BBQ restaurant located in front of the Crossroads sign. Lucille was our waitress and she is lovely, everyone there really makes you feel at home and welcomed. We only had fries because we had a late lunch but the fries were very good, the BBQ sauce is amazing too.
We had the ribs and a pork plate. Everything was good. Listed prices are based on cash payments. Cards are accepted with processing fees passed to customer. We always come with cash! Food was worth the stop. Excellent sauce, great service and atmosphere. Very friendly folks here.
Had the most amazing meal at Abes. Best coleslaw Ive ever had! 5 stars is not enough for this great establishment, this is a must visit!
